Information Security Group Leader
We are looking for an experienced Information Security Group Leader to take ownership of the technological security of a leading global technology company.
This is a newly created, high-impact leadership role combining strategic ownership, deep technical expertise, and people management. You will lead a team of 12 security professionals, define the group’s security strategy and roadmap, and serve as the top technical authority within the group.
We are looking for a leader who grew through hands-on security roles, understands technology at a deep level, enjoys solving complex problems, and can move seamlessly between strategy, architecture, and technical details.
What you’ll do

Lead, mentor, and professionally develop a team of 12 Information Security professionals.

Define and execute the group’s security strategy, architecture, and technology roadmap.

Serve as the senior technical authority for complex security challenges and architectural decisions.

Own security architecture across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.

Lead security architecture and operations across technologies such as CNAPP, XDR, SASE, PAM, IAM, WAF, and NAC.

Drive security initiatives across infrastructure, network, identity, endpoints, applications, and cloud environments.

Partner closely with IT, R&D, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.

Lead risk assessments, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and remediation initiatives.

Drive security automation and leverage AI to improve security operations and decision-making.

Continuously evaluate technologies, identify gaps, and design scalable solutions that strengthen the organization’s security posture.
What we’re looking for

10+ years of experience in Information Security, Security Engineering, Security Architecture, or closely related technical security roles.

4+ years of direct people management experience – must.

Strong hands-on technical background and a career path rooted in security engineering, infrastructure security, or security architecture.

Deep knowledge of enterprise security architecture across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.

Strong understanding of network security, IAM/PAM, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and security operations.

Experience with cloud security in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.

Experience with SIEM/SOAR and EDR/XDR technologies and incident response processes.

Understanding of Application Security and DevSecOps practices.

Familiarity with VMware/Nutanix and NetApp – required.

Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.

Ability to dive into technical details, challenge assumptions, and solve complex problems.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical risks into clear business decisions.

CISSP, CISM, or relevant cloud/security certifications – an advantage.
