SYSTEM ENGINEER

We are looking for a System Engineer to join a leading defense company located in Yehud!

The role combines end-to-end system engineering with close collaboration with development teams, in a dynamic environment with multiple projects and Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

• Full system responsibility for a system/sub-system throughout its lifecycle.
• Engineering design, requirements definition, and planning of the system solution.
• Solving complex technical and engineering problems within the project.
• Leading a system or project end-to-end, from requirements through implementation.
• Leading engineering reviews and working with customers as needed.
• Working closely with development teams and providing professional engineering leadership around the system.
• Working closely with managers, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Working on multiple projects in parallel, while managing priorities and tasks.
• Working in an Agile environment with multiple interfaces.
• Using Azure DevOps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field (relevant military experience will also be considered when the academic background does not fully meet the requirements).
• Around 4 years of experience in System Engineering.
• Experience working with development teams.
• Experience leading a system/project end-to-end.
• Strong orientation toward software projects and software engineering.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.
• Strong leadership, ownership, and responsibility for tasks and systems.
• Experience in the defense industry / background in technological IDF units, particularly Unit 9900 – an advantage.
